## KPI 5.1 Global University and Subject Rankings (التصنيفات العالمية للجامعة والتخصصات)

- Weight: 3% of the institutional score
- Period: Last year
- High: Top 300
- Collected: MoHESR, from the QS, THE and Shanghai rankings.
- Guidebook pages: 50–51

The institution’s position in global rankings.

### KPI 5.1: The rank in QS, THE and Shanghai, which MoHESR collects from the published rankings (Guidebook p. 50)

Compiled by the ranking bodies. No offering produces it.

### KPI 5.1: For an unranked institution, the preferred proxy: the share of students sponsored by industry or government (Guidebook p. 51)

- Salesforce as SIS: Each student’s sponsor is on the record with its type, so the sponsored share for the latest year is a report.

### KPI 5.1: Proxy: employers who hired from the institution last year and again this year (Guidebook p. 51)

- Alumni and Corporate Relations: Graduate employers are partner records with each year’s hires on them, so you can check the figure MoHESR derives from MoHRE data.

### KPI 5.1: Proxy: entrepreneurs and notable alumni from the past ten years (Guidebook p. 51)

- Alumni and Corporate Relations: Ventures founded and positions held are recorded on the graduate record, each with its source.

### KPI 5.1: Proxy: graduates employed by prominent companies (Guidebook p. 51)

- Alumni and Corporate Relations: The employer on each graduate record is a partner, so the share at any list of companies is one report once MoHESR publishes its list.

## KPI 5.2 International Accreditation Status (حالة الاعتماد الدولي)

- Weight: 3% of the institutional score
- Period: Last year
- High: 90%
- Collected: Master API, collected today through the interim HEDB portal.
- Guidebook pages: 52

How far the institution and its eligible programs hold international accreditation.

### KPI 5.2: Which programs are eligible, meaning a CAA-approved discipline accreditor exists in the language of instruction (Guidebook p. 52)

- Salesforce as SIS: Each program record states whether it is eligible and which accreditor applies, so the denominator is defined on the record.

### KPI 5.2: Active accreditations at program and institution level, with the body and the expiry, held during the reporting cycle (Guidebook p. 52)

- Salesforce as SIS: Each accreditation is recorded on the program or the institution with the accrediting body, the grant date and the expiry.
- Agentforce: An agent warns the program lead as an expiry approaches, early enough to start the renewal.

### KPI 5.2: For a branch campus, evidence that the branch program was included in the parent institution’s review (Guidebook p. 52)

- Salesforce as SIS: The evidence is attached to the branch program’s accreditation record.

### KPI 5.2: Filing through the Master API (Guidebook p. 52)

- Integrations: The return is produced from the program records in the HEDB format.

## KPI 5.3 Student Participation in International Dual/Joint Degrees (معدل مشاركة الطلبة في برامج الدرجات الدولية المزدوجة أو المشتركة)

- Weight: 2% of the institutional score
- Period: 3-yr rolling
- High: 5%
- Collected: Master API, collected today through the interim HEDB portal.
- Guidebook pages: 53

Student participation in international dual or joint degrees and in mobility.

### KPI 5.3: Dual, joint and mobility programs approved by the CAA, each with its partner institution (Guidebook p. 53)

- Salesforce as SIS: Each dual or joint program and each mobility agreement is recorded with its partner institution and its CAA approval.

### KPI 5.3: Students enrolled in a dual or joint program, including those not abroad this year (Guidebook p. 53)

- Salesforce as SIS: Enrollment in the dual or joint program is on the student record, so the student counts whether or not they are abroad.
- Recruitment & Admissions: Applicants to dual and joint programs are recruited and admitted on the record they then enroll on.

### KPI 5.3: Outgoing mobility of at least four weeks, or the equivalent of a three-credit course (Guidebook p. 53)

- Salesforce as SIS: The mobility record holds the host, the dates and the credits, and the rule is applied to those fields.
- Student Advising: Advisers see which students are eligible for mobility and can plan it into the study plan.
- Marketing Communications: Students in eligible programs hear about mobility options at the points in the year when they can still apply.

### KPI 5.3: Program level: documented participation within the past three years (Guidebook p. 53)

- Salesforce as SIS: Participation history stays on the record, so a program’s last three years are one report.

### KPI 5.3: Filing through the Master API as a three-year rolling average (Guidebook pp. 16, 53)

- Integrations: The return is produced from the record in the HEDB format.

## KPI 5.4 International Research Collaboration (التعاون البحثي الدولي)

- Weight: 2% of the institutional score
- Period: 5-yr total
- High: 40%
- Collected: Master API, collected today through the interim HEDB portal.
- Guidebook pages: 54

The share of research projects with an international partner.

### KPI 5.4: Research projects with a documented international partner, against all research projects as the denominator (Guidebook p. 54)

- Research Office on Salesforce: Each project records its partners with their country, on the same project records used for KPI 4.3.

### KPI 5.4: A financial contribution of at least 20% of a budget of at least AED 50,000, or a verifiable intellectual contribution to a tangible output (Guidebook p. 54)

- Research Office on Salesforce: The threshold and output tests from KPI 4.3 are applied to international partners.
- Slack for Education: Work with the partner runs in a shared Slack channel, which keeps a dated trail of their contribution.

### KPI 5.4: PhD theses under international co-supervision (Guidebook p. 54)

- Salesforce as SIS: The co-supervisor and their institution are recorded on the thesis in the student’s study plan.

### KPI 5.4: The partner organization aware of the collaboration, and each project counted once in its launch year (Guidebook p. 54)

- Alumni and Corporate Relations: The agreement or approval from the partner organization is attached to the partner record.
- Research Office on Salesforce: The launch year is set once on the project.

### KPI 5.4: Filing through the Master API as a five-year total (Guidebook p. 54)

- Integrations: The return is produced from the project records in the HEDB format.
