Which part of the day speaks to your work?

  • Student administration and examinations

Follow admissions, enrolment, teaching, grades and graduation through one student record. Assess how the demonstrated workflows relate to the handoffs and administrative work at your institution.

For Studierendenverwaltung, Studierendensekretariat, Prüfungsamt, admissions and student services.

  • Executive education and Weiterbildung

See corporate programmes, customised company programmes, cohorts and short courses on the same system as degree programmes. Bring the programme structure that is hardest for your team to administer.

For executive education, wissenschaftliche Weiterbildung, corporate programmes and academy leadership.

  • IT, campus management and AI

See AI working with student records, examine where people remain involved, and use the workshop to shortlist applications for your institution.

For CIOs, IT leaders, Campusmanagement, digitalisation leads and operational process owners.

Connect the demonstration to your institution’s priorities

Your priority may be a smoother transition from admission to enrolment, clearer information about student progression, more flexible continuing education, or a practical starting point for AI. Use the live demonstrations to examine the processes and records behind those priorities.

Bring one process you want to improve. Come ready to discuss what information it needs, who owns each step, and where staff need to make the decision.

11:00Welcome and the Salesforce education roadmap

Tondro Consulting and the Salesforce education team open the day, and Salesforce sets out where the platform for higher education is heading.

11:15The student record, prospect to alumni

One student on a working system: enquiry, application, admission, enrolment, a semester of teaching, grades, the Transcript of Records, graduation and the alumni relationship that follows. One record the whole way, the one student administration works from.

Especially relevant to: student administration, examinations, admissions and campus management

12:45Lunch
13:30Executive education

The programmes that never fit the standard, shown on the same system: corporate and executive programmes, custom programmes built for a company, cohorts and short courses. What it took to make them work.

Especially relevant to: executive education, Weiterbildung and corporate programmes

14:15AI on the student record: Agentforce, Claudeforce and self-hosted models

Back to the student from the first session. Agents working on that record at each step, and the choice of model behind them, down to a self-hosted model for the data that should not leave the institution. Shown live: what they do well today, where they still need a person, and how student administration stays in control.

Especially relevant to: IT, digitalisation and administrative process owners

16:15AI use case planning workshop

Each institution works through which AI use cases to start with and what its student record needs to support them, and leaves with a shortlist.

AI use case planning

Your institution, your shortlist

16:15–17:00

Which AI applications are worth exploring at your institution? Work through your priorities and what your student record needs to support them. Leave with a shortlist of use cases for your own institution.

Come prepared with a process that takes too much manual effort, a recurring administrative question, or a handoff that regularly causes delays.

Questions

Which session is most relevant to my role?

Student administration, admissions and examinations teams should start with the 11:15 student lifecycle demonstration. Executive education and Weiterbildung teams should look at the 13:30 session. IT and digitalisation teams will find the 14:15 AI demonstration and 16:15 planning workshop particularly relevant. The full day connects these perspectives.

Where does the day take place?

In Frankfurt am Main. We have not yet fixed the venue, and we send the address by email to everyone who has reserved a place.

Can I bring a colleague?

Yes, and we encourage it. The day works best when operational and IT colleagues from the same institution attend together. Each person reserves their own place with the form below.

Who is Howard Miller?

The Chief Information Officer of UCLA Anderson School of Management, and the keynote speaker at 15:30.

What do you do with my details?

We use them only for this event. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Places are limited.

Bring the colleague who owns the other half of the process

The day is most useful when the people responsible for the work and the people responsible for the systems can assess it together.

  • Student administration or examinations + IT or campus management
  • Executive education + the team responsible for its systems
  • Digitalisation + an operational process owner

Each person should reserve their own place.
