Research Office on Salesforce brings research information onto Education Cloud, in the same org as your student record. Projects, outputs, partners, funding, intellectual property and student research are linked to the faculty, students and programs they belong to. It works alongside your grants and compliance system and replaces the spreadsheets around it.

- Investigators, programs, funders, budget split and launch year, with each project classified as research by the criteria you report against.

- Publications, conference papers, books and creative work, linked to authors and programs, with Scopus, ORCID and DOI identifiers where they exist.

- Industry, government, international and community partners on one record, with every project, placement, sponsorship and agreement.
- Student research
- Capstones, theses, assistantships and faculty projects, linked to the student record and the study plan.
- Impact evidence
- Follow-on funding, talks, media coverage, policy citations and commercial results, recorded against the project when they happen.

- Patents, copyrights and designs, with type, jurisdiction, ownership share and grant date.

- Entered once
- Faculty report the same publication for annual review, promotion, accreditation and rankings. On one record it is entered once, and every report reads from it.
- One partner, one record
- The company that sponsors a lab often hosts interns, funds scholarships and licenses IP. Research, advancement and careers see the same partner and everything it does with the institution.
- Evidence when it happens
- Impact is hardest to prove when the assessment is due and the people involved have moved on. Evidence recorded when the talk is given or the grant arrives is there when the return is written.
- Student research, counted
- Student research is split across courses, theses and labs, so most institutions cannot say how many students take part. With the student record in the same org, the count is a report.
Proposal routing, award accounting, effort reporting and IRB stay in the systems built for them. We integrate with those systems and hold the information they do not.

Agents that find the evidence.
- Output discovery
- An agent finds new outputs by your authors in Scopus, ORCID and Crossref, matches each one to a faculty record and checks the affiliation. A person confirms each one.
- Impact search
- Agents search news and published policy documents for coverage and citations of your research. Each match is proposed for a person to confirm.
- Qualification checks
- Before a return is filed, an agent tests each project against the criteria you report against and lists what falls short.
- Document reading
- Extract reads grant certificates, agreements and valuation letters and fills in the record for a person to confirm.
Reporting
Reports the record produces.
- Outputs by program
- Publications and creative work per program and per staff member, with each output counted once for the institution.
- Partner contributions
- Funding, in-kind support and sponsorship by partner and by type, over any period you choose.
